Sewing Skirts for Jessica

Ever since Jessica received her mission call about two weeks ago, we have been in a "Missionary Preparedness" mode.  I made her a checklist and spreadsheet of all the things that she/we need to get done before she leaves for her mission.

Some of the items she needs to take care of:  such as her passport photos, paperwork and submission, visa application and submission, etc.

Some of the items I am taking care of: such as sewing her missionary clothing, getting her temple clothing, making her temple dress, arranging her endowment, arranging her pack up plans, etc.

Last week I went to the store and bought fabric for 5 skirts:  cream, grey, black, brown and navy with a white swirl.

So far I have finished (with the exception of the hem) the navy with a white swirl, and the cream skirt.  I will start the grey one this week.

I have ordered her temple shoes and temple clothes.

Things are progressing nicely.
