Going straight from the airport (getting daddy) we drove out to St. Francis School for Robert's YMCA Basketball game. He plays with Alex McClarty, Matthew Morris, Jack Dugan, Jack Seibert, Mason Rice, Andrew Matts and Ryan Goehagen. This is Ryan's first time at a game.

The boys wore white; their game started at 11:00 am (it also started a little late). Robert started as the point guard. The other team got off to a quick start leaving our guys scoreless 0-7. Then we started slowing it down and working the ball around to the inside. We made inside baskets and our free throws. We were behind at the first quarter mark but just before half time Robert stole the ball, passed to Mason, Mason passed to Ryan and Ryan shot and made the basket tieing the game 18-18. After that out team held the lead until the last 1:46 of the game. It was a one point game 31-32 them. in that last minute and some both teams had several opportunities to score points and both teams made some and missed some. In the end we won 37-36. It was the closest game of this league that we have played so far. It was also the first game that all 8 players for our team showed up, which was great, but also meant less playing time for everyone. Robert didn't get to play his traditional "hot" 3rd quarter. He was disappointed to not have scored during the game. He had several rebounds (on the inside), steals and assists, but no points. Mason was high scorer this game.
