Futsal is First

First thing this morning Robert had a Futsal game.  Lucky for us it was at Tom Sawyer (close to the home).  His game was supposed to start at 9:00 am (today it was critical for our family to start on time) but it didn't start until 9:15.

Robert's team played against the LSA team.  There were some boys from his old Javanon Red team there - Tyler Green and Matt S.  Robert's team had a great warm up, but then looked flat during the first quarter of the game, however we were up 1-0, Robert had the assist.  Robert was then switched into Goalie.  On a corner kick one of his own players (a guest player - Ryan) did an own goal.  Unlucky!  Now it's tied.  Robert kept telling the defenders to get back but they weren't in position most of the time.  He had a lot of saves (some amazing diving saves) but by the end of the quarter two more goals got in.  3-1.

After half Robert was on defense but the coach moved him up to offense.  That's when we started scoring again.  Robert assisted two more goals before a time out was called and we had to leave to pick up Mark.  We left with the score tie 3-3.  I hope we were able to finish strong.
