Devon woke up and most of the rash and welts were gone. What a relief!!! The treatment and the faith and prayers worked. We reapplied the cortisone lotion with a cotton ball to relieve the itch and reduce the rash/welts. I am so thankful that he didn't have a prolong reaction like Mark did last year, and that he escaped a severe asthma reaction from the allergy in his body.
He still wanted to run at the Greater Louisville Run so we let him. I can't believe the change in his skin condition in just 12 short hours. From almost everywhere to almost no where. He still has a few tiny welts on the back of his arms and his lower back, but that is where it was the worst last night.
Oh - I'm so thankful!
