Marissa's coaches gave her and three other varsity girls the weekend off from running.
Robert was the only runner today. He ran at the Collin's Titan Invitational. He had to be there for the walk through at 11:00 am, but didn't run until 1:15 pm. It was a very hilly course that runs in front of and into a corn field.

Robert did great! His goal was to be #7 runner for the team and he did it. He is working hard to try to earn a spot at State. The race started late, but that didn't stiffle the excitement. The girls went first - they won 1st place. The boys ran second. Runners #1 - #5 were all NOMS runners - Trenton, Logan, Luke G., Nolan and Mason. #6 was from EAST, #7 was Alex, #8-10 other schools, #11 Jack, and #12 Robert, #13 Jackson, #15 Nick … it was just clearly going to be a NOMS sweep. The boys won a perfect score, claiming 1st place!

This was a very challenging course - very hilly, running through a corn field and the finish going up hill. Robert's time was 11:33 - a new PR! So happy for him!
