I can't tell you how beautiful it has been this past summer and early fall. The weather has been perfect - sunny, warm (even hot) however at a price. We haven't had rain in four weeks. The rivers and streams are dry - completely dry.
Well, yesterday the weather was 86 degrees F with beautiful blue skies and a gentle breeze. It's the breeze that caught everyones attention, because in it the soft droplets of yellow leaves floated down through the air.
As I drove home, it honestly looked like it was raining yellow leaves. Beautiful fall day!
