Middle School Boys basketball

I think it is completely criminal to charge $400 for a 6th grade boy to play middle school basketball. My kids go to "free" public schools - and yet this fee is outrageous.

Cross Country fees are $70

HS Cross Country $135

HS girls basketball $235 ($135 + $100 extra)

There isn't any way I can justify paying $400 for Robert to play basketball. It is such a shame because he'd love to play for the school. He is very talented, whereas it could become his first sport (over soccer) if given the chance - I don't know that that will happen with fees like this.

Mark would love to see Robert play basketball ... so would I. too bad.
