Fun time in Hilliard, OH

It is pretty exciting to be heading back to a place you spent three years of your life...raising a daughter and giving birth to our first son. It's special to go back to Hilliard. It was the first house we had with a two car garage, neighborhood, etc.

I loved it in Hilliard. Mark didn't like it as much. It was while we were there that the stakes in the area tried to show how much we needed a temple. Just after we left the area, the first presidency announced a temple would be built in Columbus, OH. Amazing! My first stop in Hilliard was to see the temple.
After Devon's race we met up with Katie and Zach (Devon's age) for lunch. Zach and Devon were great buddies when we lived there. They were born only 6 weeks apart and spent many days together, as their older sisters were best friends. We at at the Mongolian BBQ. It was fantastic. Devon was starving -he had seconds.

Katie was my best friend while we lived in Hilliard. We did almost everything together. She is amazing. She now runs her own floral business - quite impressive!

My last stop was to see Kathleen Smith. Unfortunately, it was General Conference weekend and the only time I could see her was during the broadcast. She was so kind to let us stop by for a few minutes.
