The Rain finally came!

It's so wonderful. We haven't had rain in over a month. It had been a very hot summer with a few summer sprinkles here and there. That was when we thought the weather was shifting and decided to plant grass seed where some dry patches had formed in the garden. Our neighbors killed their entire lawn with the same idea. WOW - were we wrong.

We had to water every day to keep the newly planted grass from dying.

Finally, after weeks of no rain - it pores - for hours! It was a wonderful SUMMER rain storm in the middle of October.
