The game started 15 minutes late because the head ref wanted all the referees to have matching color shirts. Someone found a green penny and let the ref wear it so that he didn't have to go home to change his shirt. - That's crazy!!!
It was a physical game, and everyone was playing hard. There were several questionable calls and plays without calls. It was just going to be a game like that.
Not 10 minutes into the game coach Frank asked the ref to explain a play - foul. He was then ejected from the game. If Frank had just left everything would have been fine but he came back to the bench "to get his bag." The ref blew the whistle - stopped play, and suspended the game. He walked off the field. Two of our parents talked to him - they should not have done that!!!
The game went something like this - Noah shot, Henry shot (Henry got called for offside 4 or 5 times), Alex has 3 saves, Tanner shot, then finally, Tanner scored 1-0!!!
Upon returning the game started, Robert went in and within a minute Robert scored a goal from Tanner's cross. It was awesome!!! Score 2-0!!! At half time the score is 2-0.
The start of the second half - there must have been 8 offside calls during the game. Part way through the second half Radcliffe scored a goal. We had many more tries but the game ended 2-1.
