2 games in 1 day - first gave against Nelson County

Well, here we go again!  It was just last week that we played Nelson County and they killed us 8-2.  We are not going to let that happen again.

The game started at 11:00 am.  Robert was there by 10:20 to warm up and get ready or the game.  So were several others from the team.  It looks like more and more of the boys are committed to excellence.

Betsy and Mark are doing a tag-team parent thing today to cover all the kids events.  Marissa is running - yes, but she is running in Bartstown which is one hour away from where Robert is playing, so Betsy will stay for the 1st half of Robert's game and Mark will come for the second half.  Betsy will go to Marissa's meet and then come back with Marissa for Robert's second game.  Mark will get Robert food in-between the games and stay at the game until Betsy gets there and then take Marissa home.  CRAZY but it works!!!

OK - game time.  Robert starts again as the right wing.  The day is perfect except for the strong wind.  It is blowing across the field and slightly towards the left side goal.  To start the game we are going against the wind...ugh!  Luckily we hold them off and even had a good showing with Dillon taking 2 corner kicks, Noah almost heading it into the goal, and Tanner almost having a goal.  The half ended 0-0.

In the second half, we had the wind with us and that really helped.

The game ended 3-0.  We won and didn't allow them a goal!  WAY TO GO FIRE!!!!
