2nd game against Bluegrass Soccer Club

It was the second game in the same day - it started at 3:00 pm.  Betsy had raced from his first game down to Bardstown (1 hour away) to see Marissa race and get team photos and then race back up to Louisville to see Robert play in his second game.  She arrived approximately 18 minutes into the game.  Mark had been there for the end of the first game - lunch at the mall and the beginning of this game.  Then Mark took Marissa home while Betsy stayed for the remainder of this game.  The score was still 0-0 when she arrived.

Robert started the game as Right wing.  He was on the far side of the field.  Mark said the wind was super strong and the ball was on his side most of the time.  We did a great job at defending the goal from a very equal team that could have taken advantage of the wind.

Robert also started the second half of the game.  This time he is on the spectator side so it is better for getting photos, but worse because the wind is coming from our side across the field.  The ball is rarely on Robert's side.

Robert has a few chances to make a play for the goal, but when he passes the ball to his teammate it is lost in transition, or the pass is blocked.

The wind was strong and added to the stubble of the game.

Luckily we scored a goal in the first 10 minutes of the first half, and then scored again around the 20 minute mark of the second half.  The ball bounced around and then Chitum kicked it in.  It was a great goal.  Betsy filmed it!

The final score of the game was 2-0 - our lead.

WE WIN.  TWO IN ONE DAY!!!!   GO FIRE!!!!
