Too much of a Good Thing

This game started at 9:15 and they just started on FIRE.  They have three key players and the rest didn't matter.  #35 was their best player - he scored both their goals, #20 is the size of Mark but bigger and stronger - he played defense, and their goalie - he had some amazing saves!

After we got scored on within the first 7 minutes (there a bouts) we woke up and realized we weren't going to have such an easy game of it.  We played very hard having several chances - actually out playing the Chivas but just not able to make a goal.  First half 0-1 (them).

Robert and the other players came out strong after the half.  We unfortunately let the same guy through and he scored - 0-2.  UGH!  Robert played extremely aggressive.  I was so impressed to see he working so hard to keep the ball.

At some point in the game, the bottom of Robert's cleat came off.  He played the remainder of the game without the spikes on his shoe.  I couldn't tell.

It seemed that Robert was always double teamed when he got close to making a goal.
Final score Chivas 2 - Fire 0.
Our Record is now 10 wins -5 losses -2 ties
