For Marissa's SWEET 16 birthday party I treated her and her friends to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory.
She took Mallory Price, Makenzie Mullin, Caroline Butler, Paige Menefee, Kelsey Wohlgemuth, Amber Franscisconi and Marissa!
This was the plan: Marissa and Makenzie get ready for dinner after track practice at Marissa's house and then we would get to the Cheesecake Factory as soon as possible to get our names on the list. Since it's a Friday it's going to be busy. We would meet everyone else there. All went perfectly as planned. We arrived early. We told everyone else 6:30/7:00 so they wouldn't have to wait so long. While we were waiting we walked around the mall doing window and real shopping. We even found a photo booth and fit all 7 girls inside for a memory. We headed back the restaurant so we could be there when they called our names. The girls were standing around waiting for them to call. We had another 10 minutes. I was getting bored so I walked around the restaurant and then found a place to sit.
While I was "Giving the girls their space" sitting on the bench, one of Marissa's friends, Caroline Butler came and sat next to me saying she wasn't feeling so good. I suspected that she was weak from not having food after track practice…. I was right. She just fell over on another customer - she passed out cold. My first aid skills came right to action. We got cold water, a cool rag and some bread for her. She took a while to come too. It was crazy. The hospital was going to call an ambulance but I knew it was just her blood sugar was low. We got her a Sprite and and some bread. This sorta reminds me of what happened to Jessica back after she got her wisdom teeth out. Thank goodness Caroline started to feel better. Everyone had a great meal and had tons of fun together at Marissa's favorite restaurant.
After dinner the girls ordered CHEESE CAKE - of course. What fun.
After Birthday Cheese cake we went back to our house for a super fun sleep over. I love these girls - they are the best. They had a super fun night together. She opened presents and they watched videos. Everyones cell phones were out taking photos.
