NOMS Soccer has VICTORY over Shelby East

The NOMS boys Soccer game was at Clear Creek Park in Shelbyville, KY which is closer to Mark's work than where Marissa was running at the Henry County meet so Mark went to Robert's game and Betsy went to Marissa's meet.

The game started with Shelby East scoring our teams' first two goals (so sad for them).  Then Robert assisted on the third goal made by Nathan Clark.  Immediately after that Robert scored on a corner kick - he was on the backside of the goal and had to struggle against the opponant, but he was able to give the ball just the right touch to go into the net.

After Robert scored he was pulled out of the game.  After each goal - the person that scored was subbed out.  At half time the score was 7-0.  When the score was 9-0 and the game was almost over the coach sent in the starters again and Tyler Scholten scored the last goal 10-0.

2 own goals, Nathan Clark, Robert, Nathan Ball, Mason Rice, Tyler Scholten, Nick Dean, Blake Reitenauer, and another.

The morning announcements at NOMS on 3/20:  The boys soccer team played away at Shelby County East yesterday and dominated both matches. The varsity boys ended the game early in the second half with a score of 10 to 0. Goals from Nathan Clark, Robert Lowe, Mason Rice, Nathan Ball, Nick Dean, Blake Reitenauer and others sealed a shut out victory. The JV boys were also victorious, with a final score of 5-0. An opening goal from Derek Krug started the scoring, with Grey Kinnison scoring two before Adam Barry and Paxton Fultz finished off the game. Congratulations to the boys Mustangs! Our next game is away at OCMS on Thursday.
