After being accepted to all the schools that he applied to, Devon had a tough decision to make. To complicate the matter, not all schools have announced winners of scholarships, so Devon doesn't know what extra money would be coming from any of the out-of-state schools, just that he's been accepted. He has received the Trustee Scholarship for $2500 from the University of Louisville. We haven't heard from Ohio State or BYU.
Devon took several days to come to a conclusion, and I honestly don't know if he's excited or not. I know he'd like to eventually go to MIT, but we've counciled him to apply there after his mission. He took the council well, but I think he still would love to be at that "best of the best" engineering college.
Devon has decided to attend BYU Provo. We are all thrilled for him. Jessica is so excited, but also sad that she will be on her mission when Devon arrives there.
