1st game of President's Cup - Radcliffe Revolution

I can't believe it - we are playing Radcliffe Revolution again.  This is the 4th time this season.

Our game is at 2:00 pm on a chilly Saturday afternoon in Versailles, KY.  This is for the President's Cup, which is awesome, but we are down two players and Chidum didn't come.  Ben Carper, midfielder, is out with a torn ligament in his ankle, and Ryan Pamplin is out with a issue in his toe/foot.  We also lost Alex as Goalie, but we have Aaron as his replacement.

Robert didn't start but he was subbed in after Radcliffe scored their first goal on us.  It was a rediculous goal.  We were on defense and Trent went down, then everyone stood around and watched Radcliffe shoot the ball in - you would have throught the whistle blew, but it didn't.  Aaron gave a huge effort to stop the goal, but no luck.  We are down 1-0.

Robert goes in on the left wing.  He's in only a few minutes when a play on the other side of the field yields Radcliffe another goal.  Oh my gosh!!!  What is going on.

Robert works hard to get the ball down to our end.

He gains control and passes it forward.  Near the end of the first half, Sam passes the ball to Tanner and Tanner scores!!!  half time score is 2-1.

In the second half we seemed more more committed to play.  Dillon has a corner, Robert has a shot but it's blocked by the goalie, but we get a corner out of it.  Ian takes the corner...Dillon has another corner.  Play after play, but we seemed to only be using one side of the field.  I took these photos to show Robert was wide open but didn't get the ball.

Game final score was a loss 2-1.  BUMMER!

That game right there is going to cost us the championship...
