Another snow storm Canceled school

We are at 12 missed days of school due to cold temperatures, ice and or snow.

It started snowing / actually it was ice at 4:30 pm on Sunday evening and it continued well into Monday morning.

At 5:00 am we received the call canceling school for the day.  Robert and Marissa both slept until 10:00.  Mark was up early for work, but Betsy convinced him to work from home because there was so much ICE under the 5 inches of SNOW that still hasn't been plowed yet.  Betsy continued to sleep and stayed in bed until 9:00

Then she got up and started shoveling the drive way.  The sky was completely overcast and there was a slight breeze - it was cold.  She came in for a delicious and warm breakfast of chocolate chip waffles and hot chocolate with everyone before going back out.

She didn't ask anyone to help today because Robert is working on a big project (actually 2) and Marissa is studying for the ACT (which she will take tomorrow providing there is school).  It was much nicer the second time out because the sun was shining but it still took probably 2 hours.

Marissa took a break from studying and treated her best friend to her Birthday Lunch and shopping trip at the mall.

Robert worked on his project all day.
