After a wonderful afternoon of opening presents with smiles and laughter (and even Devon being stubborn) Mark and I loaded up the car to take Jessica and Tate to Cincinnati for their flight. On the way there Tate checked the flight status. It was a very good thing he did because the flight had been canceled (and they didn't notify us).
We drove to the Stake Center so Jessica and Tate could use the church Wifi while Mark played basketball with Robert and the other young men (they were there for YM). After over an hour of searching websites, being on hold, talking to different airlines ... Tate and Jessica's flight is delayed by two days. They now flight out on Friday. WOW!!!
I feel so bad for Tate. He was so excited to get to see his family. He loves Christmas and this delay means he will miss some very fun family honored traditions. Jessica and Tate will fly straight to Seattle where his family will pick them up.
On the bright side, we get two more days of fun with them!!!!
