Christmas Eve 2016

This Christmas Eve was very enjoyable.  It was just the boys and Betsy.

To start with the boys remembered to move their beds into our room - when are they going to out grow this tradition ???

We had our traditional Shepherd dinner with chicken kebobs, salmon, fish, flat seasons bread chips, and Mediterranean vegetables on the floor by candlelight.

The weather was very nice so we made a bonfire and sang songs around the fire while Robert played the guitar.

We opened one present - our Christmas pajamas.  This year the boys were green and blue plaid bottoms and the girls were red, green and blue plaid.  I wish we remembered to get a photo - shoot!

We raced down stairs and watched 1/2 of the Polar Express because it was getting very close to midnight and Devon didn't want to chance Santa passing our house.

For some reason I cannot sleep on Christmas Eve - I guess there are too many sugar plums dancing in my head.

Sweet dreams - until tomorrow!
