Since Devon did not have anything to do in Denver and since he was already awake, he went to the airport early to see if he could get on an earlier flight.
YEAH - he was able to get a 6:00 flight instead of the 7:50. Unfortunately, Indianapolis had an ice storm and Louisville had torrential rains so we weren't able to get to him that night. Devon didn't make it into Indianapolis until 12:00 midnight so Betsy got him a room there to spend the night.
Betsy drove up early Sunday morning to get Devon. We made it back to Louisville at 1:00 pm just in time to make it to church to take the sacrament. We hadn't dress appropriate for church, but we were happy to be able to take the sacrament. We ended up staying the two hours - I was embarrassed to be in sweat pants and a sweatshirt, but nobody seemed to care.
I'm just so happy to finally have Devon home!!!!
Now we need to find out when his luggage will arrive.
