A Christmas Carol Play

Betsy wanted to do something special with the family (like we went to Great Wolf Lodge last year) as a pre-Christmas Present (since Tate and Jessica have to leave before Christmas).  I thought about tickets to the ballet to see The Nutcracker, but then found Dickens Christmas Carol was playing at Actors Theater.  I had never been to Actors Theater, but Devon went with his AP Literature class, and Robert went with his class.

We had a busy day with the kids out buying presents, etc.  To save time, Betsy brought home Chinese food for dinner.  We had a huge buffet of General Tsoa, Orange Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, and Chicken Shezwan.  What a feast.  We all then quickly got ready for the play.  Everyone was told before coming home to bring dress up clothes (they had to have them for church, so hot a big deal).  We had to take the van there - it has no heat - YIKES!!!

The play was amazing.  Better - we had amazing seats.  We were three rows back from the stage and just to the right of center stage.  It was such a great night.  I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did.

Devon refused to be in the photo so he took the photo

So happy these guys are home with us for an Early Christmas
