Week 27 - Last week at USU

Hi everyone!
So I hit my 6 month mark this week which is crazy!!! Time is going by so fast... I wish it would just slow down:/ This week was a lot better. Everyone returned back to campus last last Sunday night, so we had quite a few lessons with our investigators this week. Also BIG NEWS... Today was transfers and...I'm going to pleasant view Ogden! My area is called Ben Lomond... Yep never heard of it. My new companion is Sister Sharp (never seen or met her before so I'll meet her tomorrow for the first time). She's only been out 6 weeks, so I will be finishing her training...12 week never ends for me, haha. I have to pack everything today which really stinks and I have to say goodbye to everyone:( I love Logan, I love the people at USU, I've really enjoyed being here and I love the college students here (shout out to Elaina and heather love you all). This probably will be my favorite area of my mission... It's the only area I've been it and I've just loved Logan and the people here, I'm so sad to leave:( Sister Schultz is also leaving our area and is going to North Ogden. This was a big surprise because our area is now being white washed by the AP's. Sister Schultz and I will be in the same zone! She is going to be with her old MTC companion. So some exciting news is that Sister Brunt will be in my zone too!!! Woot woot! I'm so excited to see her every Wednesday for district meeting! Yep, so this morning has been pretty eventful. So I won't have much time to email because I have to pack:/

We had a Christmas missionary fireside on Thursday this week at the tabernacle and it was amazing. It's a fireside where a few missionaries speak, some recent converts speak, the mission president speaks, and we invite all of our investigators to it. There were so many missionaries there it was crazy! The music was beautiful and the speakers were amazing. I said the opening prayer in the program which was cool to do. We had one investigator come, Zev, and he said he enjoyed it. After the fireside, we didn't have a ride home, so we asked Sister Allred if she'd drive us home. On the way home President Allred said to us..."do guys want ice cream?" And so we went out for ice cream with President Allred and Sister Allred! It was so fun and I love our mission president so much!

It's been a good week. We got some new investigators and we had all of our investigators come to church which was so great! I love being a missionary during this time of year. Everyone seems to just be a lot nicer and happier. I love the story of the birth of Christ. Just like how the wise man found Jesus after a while, we can find Jesus everyday as we look to him in everything that we do. I love my savior Jesus Christ. He is my ultimate example and I want to be as Christ like as I can. If you've started the #lighttheworld calendar, keep doing it. I know it will bless your lives immensely. I love you all and hope you all have a great week! Wish me luck in my new area!
