Grand Canyon (South Rim)

We left Flagstaff on Wednesday morning and headed north on a beautiful day for the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. We've been to the North Rim with Mark's family many years ago - so many that most of the kids don't even remember it without the aid of pictures...

It took 1.5 hours to get there, but it was worth it. We took a shuttle to the rim because there was a lot of construction, but we lost some precious time by doing it...oh well.

We loved the view and hated to leave - but the schedule only allowed for one hour there before a very long drive to St. George, UT. The kids would have loved to hike down (the did hike down some). The Grand Canyon is so amazingly breath taking. The kids will have vivid memories forever.

I loved every view - so sad - I am a camara-oholic
Amazing view

After driving along the South Rim, we stopped at one of the last stops before heading away from the Canyon. It is a view of the Canyon from an entire different angle.
