Unfortunately, Marissa and I left home a little late and so we had to rush to get to the race, and rush to get to the front of the race, but we made it with like 30 seconds to spare. BANG! The gun goes off and - away Marissa goes.
This was a long course. Actually, today Betsy ran the longest she has ever run consecutively. It was a great accomplishment even though she had difficulty with her asthma.
Betsy started to have breathing problems at mile 2. She had to walk a little. Then she made it up the Iroquois Park hill and down.

Marissa finished at 1:19, Betsy finished at 1:42.
Both ran a great race.!!!
