KFJ vs Central Kentucky Soccer Club CKSC (Danville)

This game is set for 3:00 pm, however because it is so far away, we have to leave by 12:35.  Robert didn't even get up until 12:30 - yikes!  Actually, he was awake - he was just in his room.  It took 1 hour 30 minutes to arrive in Danville.  We've never been there so it was exciting to go somewhere new (location of Center College).

It was a warm / hot day.  I had a ice water bottle for Robert.  It is perfect for a soccer game and tanning!!!  Betsy's happy - it's a win / win situation.

The game started at 3:00 pm.  Robert didn't start.  Right from the very start you could tell we were going to dominate this game.  Henry had a goal in only 7 minutes.  Then Cody took a corner kick - we didn't score on it, but he scored out second goal in 3 minutes.  In just another 3 minutes Cody scored another goal.

Robert was subbed in and had a nice shot but it went to the goalie.  Almost immediately following Robert had a nice drive down for a shot, but right as Robert was going to shoot, Noah stole the ball from him for the goal.  We are now up 4-0.  Robert at least has the assist for the goal - kinda crazy that Noah would take the ball away from him.  Tanner was the next to score making it 5-0.  Before the half Nolan passed a nice ball to Noah for the sixth goal.

Half time 6-0.

The second half Robert started.  Unfortunately Sam took someone out in the box so they had a penalty kick which Aaron blocked but then it was tapped in for CKSC's first goal.  6-1.  We weren't playing at the same intensity, but we still scored - Ben was the next to score 7-1.  Then Garrett passed to Noah for another goal 8-1.

Near the end of the game you could tell the defense had let up and unfortunately they allowed another goal.  The final score of the game was - win 8-2
