We went to the doctors again to a specialist and
got a CT scan. I don’t know all of the results but they think it is ether
colon problems or that he has IBS (Irritable bowel syndrome). He has
symptoms of both but if we had to choose one we would lean towards IBS because
he has some of the symptoms and his Mom has IBS. On a good note we taught 4
lessons at the doctors! People would ask us questions and we shared what
we believe and taught lessons.
We had dinner with the Wells and we got a
promising NEW referral, TK Weel’s friend. We Keep asking for referral at
dinner appointment but sadly we don’t one every time. Therefore it is
super exciting to get one because that could be a possible
investigator. We don’t know too much about him but we are excited. TK told
us that he gave his friend a Book of Mormon and that his friend has already
finished it!!! Which is amazing because TK is 12 and his friend
should be around his same age. We asked TK if his friend would like to
hear the discussions. This Sunday sister Wells came up to us and told us
that TK friend would like to meet with us this Saturday. I know that the
Book of Mormon is the Word of God and that God speaks to us through it we have
high hopes that he will become a new investigator.
We helped the Dickerson put in fence posts and
move stone. I learned that cement bags are heavy and how to use a fence hole
digger. We are going back on Tuesday to finish the fence.
Our district Leader
called us and asked us if we would help with a giving a priesthood blessing to
a single sister. As we were talking with her we found out that she had
Leukemia and has been fighting it with chemotherapy. She is not a member
but is friends with a member and her friend asked her if she would like a
Priesthood blessing. It is always amazing to be a part of a
blessing. I could tell that she was a Women of Faith. She started
crying when Elder Narsiso finished the blessing. She told us that she
felt stronger and better right away. The spirit was overflowing and I
have a firm belief that she will fine through chemotherapy. I strongly
believe in the Power of the Priesthood.
