We made good time through Nashville and all the way down into Alabama. We stopped for lunch at an IHOP along the way. Everyone was happy.
Then ... we hit traffic and I mean stop and go traffic. Finally we arrived at the Marriott Beach Front Resort in Pensacola Beach, FL only to find it under construction - the lobby was all torn up. WHAT???
This isn't what I'm paying for? I was never informed of this so I complained to the front desk and had the room rate reduced.
Mark, I and the kids took a walk on the beach with a beautiful sunset. Tomorrow will be a beautiful day.
Mark has to study for the CPA every day but that's okay - we are just glad he was able to come with us this year.
