Robert is top 15 in the Louisville Greater Classic

Actually he just missed top 10 by one runner!

Almost immediately after Devon ran we were racing back to the start line to see and talk to Robert before the NOMS boys middle school race.  Robert's race started at 3:30 pm.  Again, it was a perfect day for a cross country meet.

This is why it was so stressful today.  Betsy had agreed to take the team photo for the NOMS at 1:45, but Marissa was supposed to run at 9:20, but she ran at 10:45 in Cincinnati, OH (2 hours away)… so when you do the math her race will be over around 11:15 / 11:30 and that get's us back to Louisville at  1:30 (only 15 minute cushion).  Well, Robert and I made it just in time.

 After the photo Robert went with his team on a walk through of the course while Mark and I ran over to see Devon run his race.  Then we were back to see Robert at the start.  He had a fabulous start - top 15!!!

Robert finished in 11th place with a PR of 14:53.  He finished 4th for his team and 11th overall.  Logan Otter was 1st, Alex McClarty came in 2nd, Matthew Morris was 7th, Robert 11th and then Nick Bierne was 23rd.

All five scorers were in the top 25 winning meet tee-shirts!
