The start of the JV Run
Devon takes off strong and continues throughout the entire race. He slowly passes other strong runners. He is gone in the woods for a while. As the runners advance towards the finish line here comes Devon way ahead of when I am expecting him. WAY TO GO DEVON.

He took over 45 seconds off his last PR for a new record of 20:14. He came in 40th in the race and received a medal.
WE ARE ALL SO PROUD OF HIS EFFORT!!! WAY TO GO.
On the way home, Devon tells me he has some bad news. I say, "What?" He says, "Someone told me I was disqualified because I wore my watch." My heart sank. I can't believe that happened, but when we received the results - it was true - Devon was DQ. I told him, we know the truth - I saw you run and you ran an amazing race!!!
