Here are the things I'm involved with (some more than others):

Assistant Director - Savior of the World
BSA Committee Member - Advancement
President of American Mothers - Kentucky
National Board member of American Mothers
Chairperson 5th Grade Essay Contest in Kentucky
Teach Parenting Classes weekly - American Mothers
President NOMS PTSA
TSC Web master
NOHS Basketball Web master
NOHS Track & Field Web master
-------------------------------------------------------
scrapbooking
blogging
journaling
-------------------------------------------------------
laundry
cooking
chores/cleaning
mail
bills
decorations
-------------------------------------------------------
PS: That isn't even listing my most important
responsibilities as a wife and a mother. The responsibilities of being a mother come way before anything else. Time with kids, homework with kids, looking over their health and happiness, teaching them, etc.

What goes! They are all important and things I've said "YES" to, but now I really don't have the time to do them all. HELP!!!!

  1. I say give up the laundry, cooking, and cleaning! haha You are always so busy with so many good things..it's hard to pick and choose what to do and not to do. I feel like I'm in the same boat. I have said "yes" to too many things that I really don't have time to do...then I find myself spending more time doing those things than spending time with my kids. I am learning that I can't do it all and need to learn to say "no" sometimes...for me that is hard. Good luck deciding what to give up:)

  2. I would say (and in no way have I ever accomplished this, but I would love to) that you should list the things that are most important to you in your life---things you would miss if you died. Then pick the things that actually contribute to those priorities. Wipe out the rest.
