Happy Birthday Robert

Saturday, February 25, 2017

Robert Thomas Lowe turned 18 years old.  He became an official adult.

My little Robert, whom has been my buddy and travel companion for years is all grown up.  It's so hard to believe and exciting all at the same time.  He is so mature, intelligent, respectful, diligent, athletic, ambitious, and trustworthy.  I'm so proud of him!!!

Today, Mark and I have a special day planned for Robert.

Ryan Geogehagen spent the night on Friday.  This morning we made them chocolate chip waffles and bacon before opening presents (or at least one present).

At the Game!!!

For Robert's birthday, we got him tickets to the University of Kentucky vs Florida basketball game being held today at Rupp Arena at UK in Rupp Arena.  Robert is a big UK basketball fan, but has never been to a UK basketball game.  We got two tickets - one for Ryan too!

Ryan drove there.  They stopped and saw Keyon Gehoymi too.

The game was great.  UK started off slow but came back to win the game.  AWESOME!!!

Betsy and Ryan invited many of Robert's friends to the house for a surprise 18th birthday party.  Ryan invited all the seniors from the soccer team and many of the guys and girls from the Creasey FC team...Ryan G., Mason Rice, Ben O'Brien, Drew Bailey, Zach Gaubert, Jack Dugan, Jack Siebert, Matthew Morris, Mo Mendoza, Max Sanders, Nathan Clark, Michael Raybine, Dylan Smith, Alex Betson, David Roy, and Shannon Roy, Shannon's friend from Michigan, Megan Simpson, Emma Boyd, Sela, and a few others.

It was a great night - ping pong, home videos, basketball, pizza, cake, drinks, fun!!!!

We love you Robert!!!
