Laying the Paver Cobblestones

From this:

to this: in one very long afternoon.  After Robert's game on Saturday, Mark and I worked veraciously on getting the patio done.  He rented a wet saw from Home Depot to cut the pavers.  I leveled the sand and made the area ready for the paver while he laid each one in the sand.  We took 3 hours (1:00 - 4:00) to get the first 1/3 of the patio done, it did not look like we would finish in one day.  But then things sped up and we were able to get the whole patio done by 8:20 pm.  Our goal to get in done in one day was instigated by the fact that I was leaving Monday morning with Jessica so this was our only day to get it done.
We love it.  It is approximately 18 x 18 with an additional section that is 7 x 6 for lounge chairs.

There is still more to do:  we need to fill the cracks between pavers with grout and seal the patio.  Then we need to complete the stairs that will go down to the patio.  But that's it - we are on the home stretch!
