Robert, with all the soccer drama of the summer, is on the Classic team - and loving it. He is getting great playing time, great coaching and he is getting to play in new positions that seem to be very good for him.
This game is particularly important because it will show the boys where they rank compared to the "A" team. Everyone was on their game. It was very intense - both sides.
Robert had an excellent game. He really was aggressive and assertive in taking action on the ball, anticipating play, etc.
He played three positions, Left forward, Left wing and attacking mid (some of these names are the same as what I learned), but he knows where to go and where to be - so that's all that matters. The A team scored first, but then 10 minutes later the "B" team scored. Half time 1-1.
The second half was just as intense as the first half! This time the sun is in our eyes. Robert is playing super aggressive. He has a few crosses to another player for the shot but they miss. They were the perfect cross. It was such a shame!
He plays so calm and under control!
In the end, the game ended 1-1. Neither team scored on the other in the second half. It was a huge victory for the "B" team. They are equal to the "A" team. YAHOO!!!
