North vs Oldham County

This was an exciting game - never a dull moment.  Robert started the game, but just 9 minutes into the game, the refs called a delay of game due to distant thunder for 30 minutes.  Luckily there wasn't any rain and the thunder went away so we were able to continue the game.  The players resumed the field and the intensity of a rival game continued.

I love still shots, just as much as action shots

In the first half Robert played left wing, but then was switched to the right side.  It was a very competitive game with both teams working the ball up an down the field.  Unfortunately, near the end of the first half, Oldham took a shot on goal, and our goalie slipped in the soggy mud falling just as the ball goes over his hands.  Oldham scored 1-0.

I love the intensity in his face

Andrew with the ball
Robert started and played the whole second half.  He was moved to the forward position with Andrew Brink.  Later Alex Foote came in for Andrew but Robert stayed in the whole time.

Another attempt, but it wasn't a good pass to Robert

At one point in the game Robert had a beautiful pass to Alex Foote,

he received it and drove up with only one defender, not close.  A

lex shot but it went straight to the goalie.  It would have tied up the game.

Unfortunately, we couldn't get a goal.  The game ended 1-0 for Oldham.
