NOHS vs South Oldham at South

For some reason we are just not playing well, our midfield is not able to get the ball up to the forwards and the defense by passes the midfield with long kicks, but that's only a 50-50 chance of getting the ball.... so needless to say we haven't been playing the way we typically do.

What I love about NOHS soccer is that it is based on possession of the ball.  Work it around until we have to opportunity to score, but the last two games we just haven't played like that.

Today started out okay, but at minute 21 South scored.  Then they scored again before the half making the half time score 2-0.  BUMMER!  Lets see if the boys can pull it together.

We ran into the Dobon's there - Riley (a junior) is playing.  He fouled Robert just as we were talking with his parents.  Below, Max is in the forefront while Robert is anticipating a pass.

After half time it got worse.  We let them score one more before we got a point on the board.  We had a few shots on goal but either too high, wide or right at the goalie.  On one of the shots, Keyon was fouled in the box so he took a PK and scored!  We have one!!!

look at the symmetry of their legs
By the end of the night South scored 4 goals - ugly!!!  Final score 4-1.
