We had a wonderful Easter. It started with the traditional Easter Egg / Candy hunt and Easter baskets. Followed by the traditional Easter Breakfast - yum…. then church. Betsy started to feel bad after breakfast and didn't make it to church today. It was a shame, but she felt terrible. After a very long sleep (10:30 - 3:30) Betsy got up and started making Easter Dinner. We had ham, mashed potatoes, rolls, corn, green beans and ice cream for dessert. After dinner we had our traditional photos!
It feels so weird with the kids getting older. Some of the "fun" and "excitement" of Easter eggs, candy, etc has gone away, but the true meaning has come to mean so much more as we can share it with our kids. After dinner and pictures we had everyone downstairs for a family video of "Ben Hur". |
