Marissa decided to run winter track, something that no one in our family has done so far.  She runs three days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) with the team at school and other days at home.

Today was their first indoor track meet at Nutter Field House at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.  She ran the mile.  This was her first time running the mile since 7th grade.  She ran in the 3rd heat, running a 6:07 mile, placing 27th overall.  She was third in her heat!  She did great.

Robert and I went to see her run.  We took Katie home with us and stopped to get Subway on the way home.  Unfortunately, we got stuck in UK basketball traffic (ugh).
