At 4:00 pm today Robert had his doctor appointment with Dr. Bray at Pediatric Orthopedic Specialists. Everyone was a bit anxious for the news because so much has been bothering Robert (emotionally) about the progress of his knee.
Well, if the title didn't give it away - I don't know what will. Robert's knee is healing very nicely! His left knee has the same give and pull as the right knee and both feel in the correct range of motion, etc for a 12 year old boy.
He is now scheduled for an MRI on 2/24 where we will find out for sure what the progress is.
The best news was that he is allowed to run and swim as much as he wants. He is allowed to increase activity at PT and will continue with PT for the next month.
Oh My Gosh - I was the happiest mom in the world for about 56 hours!!! So happy that his knee is healing - he can return to some activity and he will (prediction) have a full recovery! I am so happy! "It's the Best Day Ever!" is all that kept coming to my mind (thanks to "Tangled").
Thank you to all the people that have been praying for Robert, for all the PT staff, brace specialists and doctors that have assisted in his progress!
