On Monday Betsy arranged for everyone to go to the Austin Aquarium. None of us have ever been there so it will be new for everyone. We went after Cayson woke up from his nap. After the busy weekend, he took a wonderful and long nap.

Awaiting our adventure - Grandma and Cayson |
The aquarium was amazing. It was more "hands on" than we expected. We were allowed and encouraged to touch lizards, mana-rays, fish, and so much more. We saw all sorts of amazing exhibits, but most were hands on type.
We all got to hold different birds - parakeets, cockateels, parrots, etc.

Marissa with a cockateel, too. |

Mom got to hold the parrot |
The most exciting parts were petting the mana-rays and baby sharks, and especially getting to go into the lemur exhibit.

Jessica and Betsy got to go into the Lemur exhibit to pet and "play" (not really) with the Lemurs. They were allowed to come to us, but we were not allowed to go to them. Even with the restrictions, we had such a great time, and I think Jessica absolutely loved it.
Jessica and Marissa got to go into the Toucan exhibit. "Birds of a feather flock together." Jessica and Marissa were all smiles and grins about feeding these rare birds. They had a great time too!!!
