Friday, September 13 was the VIP Preview of the Reagan Overlook Building
We only invited business owners, media, government officials, members of the Chamber of Commerce, and other dignitaries to attend on Friday.
The building was perfect. Decorations were in place down to the last card, plant, and light.
Mark and I worked so hard to make this happen. We have displays and people to man the displays for all the auxiliaries of the church:
Young Men
Young Women
Relief Society
Priesthood
Sunday School
Primary
Missionaries teach - English Connect
Self Reliance
Pathway
Just Serve
Family History
and a special room just to highlight the Savior
Today's program started with a ribbon cutting ceremony by the Chamber of Commerce.
From there, everyone filtered into the Chapel where President Woodfield gave some remarks about the significance of the building and the significance and what takes place in our chapels. We divided the attendees into small groups and they were taken on a guided tour to each of the auxiliaries rooms to learn more about each of those programs.
Lunch was catered by Taco Cabanna - a huge hit!
Mark and I are so grateful to everyone that made this day such a huge success. There were 70 people in attendance, with at least 40 of them non-members.
