Helping Tara Brown

Wow, my friend Tara Brown and I worked together at Proheat a few years ago (before I went back to college).

While we worked together, she had her first child, Reese (she's 4 now).  Then she had Nolan (he's two now). But eight months ago, she had twins, Evan and Calli.  She has her hands full.  It's never a dull moment, and she rarely even has time for a break, so ...

Saturday I went out to visit with her for two hours.  I brought our favorites - Diet Coke and McDonald's breakfast sandwiches.  Luckily, the twins took to me and Nolan liked me too.  I was able to hold the babies while we talked and caught up.  She was able to do some things too.

As I listened to her, I realized I should have listened to the promptings of the spirit that prompted me to visit earlier in the year.  Several times, but I thought, she wouldn't want me to visit.  I'm list twice her age.  Turns out I was wrong.

I went back on Tuesday, today!  I helped with the two little ones while the older kids took naps.  I got Even to go to sleep while she was able to eat lunch.  Such a small kindness, but I am sure it meant a lot to her.

I plan to go and help often, I know the Lord had me not work at this time for a reason, so I could be there to help others.  I love Tara and her beautiful family.  I hope I can just ease their challenges for a while.
