Hello everyone!
This week was another busy week. We had a lot more lessons this week, but not as much finding.
Here are some cool things that happened:
- We went on this hike in Logan and it was so pretty. It's called the Crimson trail and for P-day my whole zone got together and hiked it. I'm really liking our new zone and I like meeting all the new people in our mission that I've never met before. We have a lot of fun together and most of my P-day is spent with our zone!
- We had more lessons with Jasmine this week. We got her to watch a baptism on Saturday and we asked her how she's feeling about getting baptized on the 12th and she said "yep I still want to get baptized on that day!" So yay for that!! She is awesome and I really believe she will get baptized on that day.
- We've been meeting with a couple other investigators this week. They are slowly progressing but I have faith that they will receive an answer of this true gospel. Caesar is one of them. He has read the Book of Mormon 4 times and believe it's true, he loves church and the peace he feels there, but still doesn't want to get baptized. His issue is that he "doesn't see himself a member," so pretty much commitment issues. We asked him if he got baptized what it would do for his life and he said it would make life easier and bring relief. So... Yep he's confusing but we are still working on him, haha
- So here are some perks of being on a mission in Utah. So this week we went to Chiles for lunch together with a few other missionaries. And when we went to pay someone already payed for it all! And then today we were grocery shopping we got to the cash register and this old guy said I'm paying for both of you! As we were walking out we shook this guy’s hand and he slid us $20 bucks when we shook his hand! We were like "no, this is yours" and then he just walked away! Earlier this week we were at Aggies ice cream and we were payed for there too by a stranger! People are so generous here in Logan! I love these people so much and they are so kind to missionaries!
Well we had a busy week but I don't have too much time to write today! I hope all of your weeks went well and that you are seeing Gods hand in your life more. I love this mission and I love the people here. I love being a missionary and I never want it to end, haha. Love you all!
