Marissa is a YCC at Young Women's Camp

This was Marissa's first year as a YCC.  She had to be there Monday at 12:00.  They were at the same location they were last year - Lion's Camp Crescendo.  We picked up Emily Pina and took her with us.

Marissa was there when Mark's dad passed away.  Because she has access to social media we had to contact her to give her the news so that she could hear it from us first - before seeing posts on FB or Instagram from her cousins.  She was very sad to hear the news.  We offered to come pick her up but she said she'd be fine.  She wanted to stay.

She stayed the whole week except for the last 12 hours (sleeping Thursday night).  We picked her up after the Testimony meeting so that she could get home - the next day she was going to Holiday World with her friend Makenzie Mullins.

She was a YCC over the 1st years.  Several leaders said she did a fabulous job.  She's a natural.  She loves working with others and younger children (not that 1st years are much younger).
