BATS NIGHT OUT

We had four tickets to the Louisville Bats game - Devon, Jessica, Marissa and Mommy went! Our seats were right behind home plate - and our Louisville Bats WON! 6-3 What a great night out.We love Buddy the Bat. He makes the crowd laugh. Jessica and Devon at the game after eating delicious Papa John's Pizza.

Jessica and Marissa just as the game is starting!

Look - you can even see the ball.

Marissa and Mommy.

The real reason the kids like going to Bats games is for the cotton candy, funnel cake and icees. Mommy loves the game and the whole atmosphere (except the drinking). We had three adorable older ladies sitting behind us that knew each player and their statistics - it was so cute to overhear them!
Jessica and ME! I even look shorter than her in photos...(hee hee)

"Look what I got!"
Near the end of the night, Buddy the Bat threw soft Bat's balls into the stands. He threw one to Jessica! It was very exciting!

I love spending time with the kids and this was one of those perfect nights. I had just come back from the American Mother's National Convention in Portland, OR and missed them so much. We had such a great time together. At the risk of sounding like a broken record - there comes a time when you realize you have less time remain with your kids at home than you have already had - and all of the sudden you want to make sure you are doing everything you wanted to do as an example, a mother, a friend and as their teacher before they leave for college and that big world (without you - meaning me.)

I had a great night and hope to remember it always!
