Christmas Church

It was so wonderful to have everyone together to attend Christmas Church with us.  We took up half a pew.  Cayson went out a few times - with Tate, with me, ... but it was still wonderful.

The talks and the music was amazing.  I was touched by the spirit of the Lord and the knowledge of his sacrifice in sending his beloved Son to Earth for us.

Merry Christmas - the true meaning of Christmas.

After Church Cayson was so tired he went down for a nap before we got home.  Sweet dreams dear Cayson.

We cut, baked and decorated cookies the rest of the day and into the evening. Even Mark joined in the festivities.  Somehow the conversation drifted to a movie we saw (a while ago) with Kevin Costner and a waterfall symbol.  Somehow Mark's cookies started to be symbols of waterfalls and dragonflies... strange...

After Cayson's nap, he was in the best mood.  He even let me put his Santa hat on for a while.  We played trucks, legos and all sorts of fun things with Cayson.  He is 17 months and so fun.  He has about 30-40 words which makes his so adorably chatty.  His favorite activity was looking for Jasper, or to Cayson "Meow"  We would often find Jasper "Meow" hiding in the back farthest corner of Mark's closet (but that never stopped Cayson from looking for him.  haha

Skiing Park City

OK just to start this off Betsy has not skied in 27 years. Just let that sink into your head for a minute. The year has finally come when we don’t have any sports in the winter time and our family can be together so Betsy booked a family vacation to Park city Utah. Everybody was there, Marc, Betsy, Jessica, Tate, Devon, Marissa, Robert and even Devon‘s girlfriend Sierra.

Jessica wasn’t able to ski so she stayed back at the cabin.

The rest of us had a blast skiing. Mark Robert and Betsy skied together. Devon and Sierra skied together but Sierra hurt her toe so she didn’t get the ski that much. Tate and Marissa decided to snowboard and had a blast. Tate thought Marissa a new technique.

Betsy was thrilled that she had not lost her touch. The slopes were amazing, but a bunch of them were closed. Park city did not have that much snow this year so the next day everybody went to Snowbird.
