Yeah brother Watt was very nice. I will try and be a better example this second transfer! Maybe the house isn't selling so that you all can help with the nativity haha.
I'm excited for Devon. Tell him I love and miss him! I hope he has a great wedding and that everything goes smoothly

Hi Robert- what wonderful blessings you had this week with Brother Watt Phutho dropping in to see you and taking you to real Thai food for a meal, and then what a great surprise having Linda see you!!
We hope this week has improved since we last talked to you. We hope you can be a good example to Elder Thuu. He will remember your attitude and actions. Be independent of him and he all that you can be. A few things will happen: 1) he will appreciate your influence and improve, 2) he will not change but you are still faithful and obedient to the Lord, 3) he resents that you want to be obedient and it’s a hard 5 more weeks but it will pass - but you stay obedient and work thru it . In all cases stay true to yourself and your goals as a person and a missionary. I believe in you, I believe you are a great missionary. Today I read Doctrine and Covenants 24:10 - “And he not suppose that he can say enough in my cause; and lo, I am with him to the end.” If you don’t see results, continue. Devote all you have to the work. The Lord is with you at all times! He will comfort you when you get down, and lift you. The key is to forgive your companion so that the spirit is with you always.
So back in Kentucky we haven’t had anyone come see the house but we aren’t worried. We trust it will sell when the Lord wants us to move. I think we will stay until January so we can finish our pathway callings and so I can serve at the festival of nativities. So many people loved getting dressed up in my costumes each year.
Today dad and I left for a three day trip to Memphis (dad has business and I will look for a house), then Thursday we fly to Utah for Devon’s wedding. In a week he will be married- what an amazing miracle and enormous amount of joy I will witness. Can you believe How good his life has turned out despite all the challenges he faced. Faith in the Lord brought us great miracles while we raised him. I’m so happy for him! We wish you could be there but we are so proud of you being there!!! You will be with us in spirit.
Now that it’s November it’s time to reflect on all that we are grateful for. Try to make a list like we did as a family. I would love to hear your list at the end of the month. I’m so grateful for YOU! You have brought me so much joy as I watched you grow up!!! You have a spark and light about you. You always make others feel joy when they are around you! I’m grateful for your dedication and your strength and knowledge in the gospel, and your strong work ethic. For your goodness and your testimony! You are a special person- I love you!!!
Love you
Mom
