Tennis Scrimmage vs Manual and Greenwood

Tennis season began with a scrimmage against Manual and Greenwood - two very talented teams in Kentucky.  The scrimmage took place down town Louisville.

It was a bitter cold morning.  I had Robert wear under armor but he didn't like it.  His first match was double with Jack Stewart.  They are a great team. Manual also had a great team.  Jack and Robert played well, but ended up with a 6-2 and 6-3 loss.

Eli Woods is the #1 singles for North.  Mitch Zuberi was #2 today, but we also have Jordan (out with injury).

Then Robert played a singles match - this was good competition for him. The day had warmed up, and Robert was also a little more awake and alert for this game.  He won 6-4.  Right now the coach has him as the #3 player!  That's awesome.

After a short break, then Greenwood came.  Robert played doubles with Aiden Kuhn.  This time Robert didn't wear the under armor.  He said it was restricting him movement.

Robert has really improved from last year.  His shots are more accurate, and hit with great strength.  His has a strong serve too.  He looks ready for the season!!

Let's go North!!
