Christmas Cookies

Tradition lives on…Christmas cookies galore!

Monday Betsy, Devon and Robert cut out and baked several dozen cookies - probably over 100 cookies before Marissa came home from work.  She was so sad, but she had to work all day today (12:00 - 8:30).  We decided to cut out and bake all the cookies before she got home so that we could spend the rest of the night decorating cookies.

Betsy had everything ready - frosting, bowls, cookies, plates, etc… We were up past midnight still decorating cookies.  It seemed to never end.

Devon decorating - and he doesn't know I took a photo :)
Dad made a beautiful cookie
Highlights were that Mark was able to join us - yeah!  Devon was home from college - yeah!
Marissa loves decorating cookies
Robert wouldn't look but I got a photo anyway :)

After getting them all decorated we made several plates to take around to friends as Christmas presents. It was super fun for mom, but the kids didn't want all the cookies to disappear.  Better at someone else's house than on mom's hips…!!!

Just one of many platters of cookies

Cookies to give away
