Friday night Devon took Marissa and Robert out to dinner at Devon's favorite - Longhorn. They had a great time together, laughing and enjoying some "last minute" times together. Afterwards, Marissa and Robert convinced Devon to take them out to Graeter's too. WOW! Devon must love his little sister and brother to take them out to two places in one night.
Monday night Mark and Betsy took Devon out for his special, "Last Night at Home" dinner before college. We did this with Jessica and loved it so much it has become a tradition. We loved having this chance to just talk with him about this next chapter in his life. It is a chance to give advice and help him prepare for what is ahead. We hope and pray he will take our advice and have a very successful semester (year for that matter) at BYU.
Tuesday morning is the "Good bye Breakfast". Tradition has it that on the morning of a significant send off (College, mission, etc) we go out to breakfast as a family. Since this is a school day we will continue the tradition of having breakfast at McDonalds.
